Comfort Packs

In times of crisis when children need normality, dignity and comfort, having the essentials can really make a difference to a child’s life.

Providing care and comfort to a child in need

A Comfort Pack is a child’s backpack filled with essential items that provide personal care and comfort while away from home. Constable Care provides these free of charge to frontline care and emergency service workers anywhere in WA who are working with children who are victims of abuse, neglect, or who are involved in traumatic situations such as road accidents or bushfires.

Comfort Pack contents are age and gender appropriate for children aged 0 to 16 and include items such as:

  • Pyjamas
  • Underwear
  • Towel
  • Toothbrush & Paste
  • Soap
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Hair Brush
  • Story Book
  • Activity Book with Pencils

The contents of Constable Care Comfort Packs are donated by businesses and individuals who really want to help make a difference for vulnerable children in our community. The backpacks and cost of distribution throughout the state are funded by WA organisations that support this valuable program, including Freemasons WA and the WA Police. Comfort Packs are sorted, packed and prepared for distribution by our valued corporate partner volunteers.

Although we are enormously grateful to our existing supporters, we need your help to ensure that the Comfort Pack program can continue to meet the growing demand!
