Constable Care Child Safety Foundation, as part of the Western Australian Road Safety Education Committee (WARSEC) is happy to announce Directions 2017-2019.
Directions is an action plan which informs WARSEC's work in coordinating road safety education across the State.
WARSEC Chair, Anne Miller, said that the majority of schools in WA had received professional learning, resources and initiatives provided by the member agencies of WARSEC.
“Road safety is the responsibility of everyone in the community. Directions is about acknowledging the dedication of those organisations who for many years, have contributed to WARSEC, Toward Zero (WA’s Road Safety Strategy 2008-2020) and the safety of children and young people on our roads,” she said.
Directions 2017-2019 was launched at the Australasian Road Safety Conference at Crown Perth by Acting Road Safety Commissioner Iain Cameron.
WARSEC is comprised of 21 member agencies and is convened by SDERA. It's aim is to advance safe road use and road safety education for young people in Western Australia.
